Description

Stone farmhouse for sale to finish refurbishing, with 21 hectares of land, in a spectacular location with panoramic views of the Moianés region and Montserrat, just 5 km from Castellterçol.

The farmhouse consists of two adjoining bodies that give it a rectangular floor plan.

The main volume has an unfinished two-slope roof, with the ridge perpendicular to the main façade and distributed on the ground floor and two floors.

Attached to the western façade, there is another rectangular body with a two-slope roof, and organized on a single level. On the main façade, facing south, there is an entrance portal with a voussoired semicircular arch with jambs made of ashlars and another rectangular door built in stone as well.
The rest of the openings correspond to rectangular windows with ashlars on the jambs, flat lintels and molded sills (the one located above the floor has the lintel decorated with a double pointed arch).
There are also four small square-opening windows, three on the ground floor and one on the first floor, framed with stone ashlars.
The east façade has two twin semicircular arch windows located on the second floor and built with bricks.
On the first floor there are three rectangular windows built with stone ashlars and moulded sills.
There is also a small rectangular volume attached to this wall of the west façade. There is a triple ogee arch window, although also newly made, and an old window framed with stone ashlars and converted into a rectangular window.
Inside the building there are portals with lowered, pointed and semicircular arches built in stone and a stone sink integrated into a niche.
The construction is built in medium-sized rough-cut stone arranged regularly and tied with mortar, with smaller stones to regularise the courses. The corners are embellished with stone ashlars.
In front of the main façade there is a stone-built volume in rather ruins, which has one of the semicircular perimeter walls and has a buried floor.
This volume, which was originally intended for agricultural tasks, is cemented on the natural rock of the area and has a space covered with a barrel vault and stone scaffolding, the roof of this buried space regularizes the front space of the main façade.
